Mr. Roger Brown
Weatherford
4008, 4010 & 4012 - 53 StreetAthabasca, Alberta T9S 1B3 Canada
Dear Mr. Brown:
Rafael Rivas, mechanical and oil engineer who is actively working as a supervisor in the hydrocarbon’s department at weatherford, suggested that I contact you concerning a position in the telecommunication department. I have read about how this company continuously develops new ways and technologies to find and produce hydrocarbon. Due to my preparation and ability to work with networks and new technologies, I perfectly qualify for this position. I am very interested in working for Weatherfod because of your company’s reputation and the opportunities presented.
I just graduated from URBE as an electronic engineer, as well as, obtaining a Cisco CCNA certification. I have completed courses in Electric Circuit Analysis, Electronic Devices and Manufacturing and Integrated Electronic Circuits. Teamwork skills have been developed through class projects, and leadership through serving as President of URBE´s youth networkers group. This past semester I completed a design project working with routers which was a valuable experience.
Although the enclosed resume provides a good summary of my background and experience, I would like to arrange to meet with you to discuss any positions you may have available and my qualifications for them. I will call your office next week to schedule an appointment. Thank you for your time.
